Ministers appointed based on personal goodwill: alleges JVP

Political parties are raising various opinions with regard to the newly appointed cabinet of the National Government.

JVP politburo member MP Sunil Handunnetti stated that ministerial portfolios in the national government have been offered to close associates.

Meanwhile, National Organizer of UNP Minister Daya Gamage stated that they would be able to build the country successfully through the new cabinet.

Leader of Mahajana Eksath Peramuna MP Dinesh Gunawardena told our news team that after the appointment of the new cabinet, the ministries and the departments have been divided and separated.

Meanwhile, Deputy Leader of National Freedom Front Weerakumara Dissanayake stated that the new cabinet will need to shoulder a great responsibility in future.
