A TNA group is preparing to conduct a walk, from Killinochchi to Jaffna to force the UNHRC to hold an international investigation in to alleged war crimes.

The TNA consists of TELO, ITAK, PLOT, and EPRLF.

TNA Northern Provincial councilor representing TELO, M K Sivajilingam said that 3 parties other than ITAK are of the view that an international investigation should be carried out.

The TELO representative said so, while participating at a media briefing in Jaffna held yesterday.

Right now opinions vary within the TNA about the UNHRC summit.

A group of MP’s including M K Sivajilingam have been positive about attending the summit, while M A Sumandiran representing the ITAK told Hiru News yesterday that a decision has not yet been finalized regarding the matter.

He said that the need would not arise until the report on Sri Lanka which will be submitted to the UNHRC is taken into consideration.
