The Chief Medical Officer of the Colombo Municipal Council Ruwan Wijemuni states that 34 houses were found to provide breeding ground for the Dengue mosquito, at the investigation of 2292 houses in the city of Colombo.

On an inquiry by Hiru News he further stated that in addition to this, 12% of the houses examined yesterday showed potential of providing possible breeding ground for the mosquito.
