The postmortems with regard to the killing of the mother, father and daughter reported from Galpotta in Udugampola in Gampaha on 10th of this month was held at the Gampaha Base Hospital yesterday.

That was under the guidance of Colombo Medical Faculty’s judicial medical officer P. Palanidaran.

While it was confirmed at the postmortems that these killings were homicides carried out by an assault, it was decided to send body parts to the Government Analyst for further tests.

The postmortems have revealed that these killings had been carried out about a week ago.  

Police arrested the suspect of the recent triple murder case in Udugampola at Pasyala in Nittambuwa yesterday.

The vehicle he stole from the victim’s house was also seized by police.

The suspect, who served in the poultry farm of the victim, has lived in the victim’s house.

The suspect of the triple murder in Udugampola arrested in Pasyala along with the stolen vehicle

Police arrested the suspect of the recent triple murder case in Udugampola at Pasyala in Nittambuwa today.

The vehicle he stole from the victim’s house was also seized by police.

The suspect, who served in the poultry farm of the victim, has lived in the victim’s house.

He had fled the area after committing the murder of the 52 year old poultry farm owner, his 42 year old wife and the 4 year old daughter.
