Geneva report does not mention war crimes - PM

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe says that the United Nations Human Rights Report has not levelled direct accusations of war crimes in Sri Lanka.


Speaking at an event which was held at the Jayawardana Centre yesterday the Prime Minister stated that a response will be submitted to Geneva after obtaining the Udalagama Report and Paranagama Report.

The event was held to commemorate the 109th birth commemoration of late President J R Jayawardana.

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe expressed these views at the event.
