President Maithripala Sirisena is scheduled to address the UN Summit on Sustainable Development today which is held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.

Our Correspondent stated that the President will make his address at 10AM New York time.

Meanwhile, President Sirisena is also scheduled to meet with US Secretary of State John Kerry to discuss regarding the future vision for Sri Lanka.

President Maithripala Sirisena who is in New York yesterday met with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, Commonwealth Secretary General Kamalesh Sharma, and Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
