Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe says that if Commonwealth or any other foreign judges and consultants participate in the court proceedings with regard to the country’s wartime occurrences, they should do so according to the Sri Lankan law and the leaders of the country.

At a function held yesterday at the Colombo Hyde Park premises the Prime Minister said similarly while the task of commonwealth or any other foreign judges should be approved by Parliament, this would be carried out according to the constitution of the country.

The Prime Minister said so while participating in the handing over of Hyde Park Grounds to the people after renovation and the opening of the two-storey building complex.
