Body parts of the woman killed at Opaathawattha in Kotakethana in Kahawatta have been sent to the Colombo Government Analyst’s office and the Genetec Institute in Borella for further testing.

The postmortem of the woman subjected to the killing was held at the Ratnapura General Hospital yesterday under judicial specialist Dr. Tikiri Bandara.

The postmortem revealed that the death had occurred due to internal bleeding caused by five serious cut wounds.

Similarly it has been revealed that there are severe cut injuries on the left portion of the woman’s head.

Body parts have been sent to Colombo to find out whether the woman was subjected to molestation before the murder.
