Student released from Kotadeniyawa murder allegations writes to the IGP

The student who was released from the allegations of the Kotadeniyawa murder has sent a letter today to the IGP.

In his letter to the IGP, the 17-year old student has requested the police chief to take action to return his three mobile phones, several CDs and a gem studded chain which he wore to repel misfortune.

Police had seized these belongings of the student at the time of his arrest.

The student told our news team that the copies of the letter to the IGP have been posted to the President and the Minister of Law and Order.
