The Minister of Town Planning and Water Supply Rauff Hakeem told parliament today that government institutions incurred a loss of 134 million rupees due to the recent oil leakage in the Kelani River by a private firm.

The minister revealed this information in response to a question raised yesterday by JVP Leader and Chief Opposition Whip Anura Kumara Dissanayake under Standing Orders.
