EPDP Secretary and Parliamentarian Douglas Devananda has requested the President Maithripala Sirisena to remove Army personnel retained in public own lands in Mullaitiv, Walikaman and Kilinochchi.

Mr. Devananda stated that 615 acres of land has been reinstated to the people under the patronage of President.

However, Parliamentarian Devanantha emphasized that the government should provide the necessary amenities to rehabilitated and re-settled people in the north.
