The joint opposition states that the current government faces a serious financial dilemma.
Parliamentarian Bandula Gunawardena states participating at a media brief held yesterday(29) at Colombo that due to the current governments strategies the foreign investors are lethargic to come to Sri Lanka.
Lanka Sama Samaja Party General Secretary Professor Tissa Witharana stated at the media brief that after January Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) has been lessened in Sri Lanka.
Due to the current procedures of the finance ministry the country has faced a dilemma stated People United Front’s (PUF) Leader Parliamentarian Dinesh Gunawardena. After few hours of this statement by Dinesh Gunawardena the bank of Ceylon announced of its vehicle leasing loan limit policy.
It announced that the increase of 90% loan limit on vehicle lease will be implemented from yesterday onwards. Further it stated it will notify all commercial banks and finance companies of the above policy.
