Cop urinates on another Cop's face
Police Headquarters have launched an investigation into an incident where a Sub Inspector of Police is alleged to have urinated into the face of another Sub Inspector of Police serving at a Police Station in the Colombo North Division.
Police Media Spokesman Assistant Superintendant of Police Ruwan Gunasekera said that the investigation is being carried out on the orders of the Inspector General of Police.
A new Sub Inspector of Police had arrived at a Police Station under the Colombo North Division.
It is said that this Sub Inspector of Police had been involved in various conflicts from the day he arrived for work, with another Sub Inspector of Police who was serving in the same Police Station.
When the new Sub Inspector of Police had been asleep at night two days ago, the Sub Inspector of Police who had been in service at the Station previously, had arrived and it is reported that he had urinated on to the face of the sleeping officer.

This newspaper report too has been referred to the IGP.
Police Media Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekera said that accordingly, on the instructions of the IGP, an investigation into this alleged incident is being carried out under a top Police official.
