EU to visit Sri Lanka and decide on fishery ban

The European Union (EU) team will visit Sri Lanka tomorrow in order to assess whether a ban on imports of fish from the island can be lifted, announced the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The visit is scheduled to take place from the 12th to the 15th of November.

Is it reported that the visiting EU team will meet Sri Lanka’s Minister of Fisheries Mahinda Amaraweera tomorrow.
