A school student has died today morning after being hit by a school bus at Hettipola while the sister of school student has been injured.
The Police Media Spokesman Office states that the two students were hit by the bus while traveling in the pedestrian crossing situated near the school.
A 9 year old student has died in the accident.
The injured 13 year old student has been hospitalized for treatment at the Hettipola hospital.
The bus driver has been arrested on suspicion in connection with the accident.
