The public are requested to refrain from engaging in fishing activities on Friday (13) in the South coast.

The Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic Resource Development has made this request due to the possibility of space debris targeting the South coast.

Astrologists have advised the public to refrain from coming into contact with any space debris expected to land about 65km to 100km off the Southern coast at 11:50am tomorrow.

Speaking to Hiru News Aquatic Resource Development’s Director General Christy Lal Fernando said the location of impact has been accurately predicted.
