The space object WT1190F expected to have crashed in waters close to Dondra was not sighted and is believed to have burnt up while entering the earth’s atmosphere.

Scientists had earlier said the debris, would fall this morning.

Much of the hollow object, was to burn up in the atmosphere and the expectation was that a small piece was to crash in Sri Lankan waters.

However no sighting was made.
