LTTE suspects; can’t consider as Full-fledge release

The Justice Ministry states though steps have been taken to release the LTTE suspects on strict conditions it will not be a fully-fledged release.  

The above ministry’s notice issued mentions that steps have been taken to release the 60 persons including suspects and persons who are defendants of pending cases on bail issued by the courts with conditions under the act of release of terrorism.
It further states that on 22nd November 2010 the then judicial minister Mohan Pieris released 140 suspects who were arrested under the prevention of terrorism act on severe crimes committed.
