Frontline Socialist Party (FSP) is preparing to lodge a complaint at the Human Rights Commission stating that their party has been subjected to injustice since the law has not carried out any steps regarding the statement by the former defense secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa alleging his connection to the abduction of Kumar Gunaratnam.
The other day Gotabhaya Rajapaksa briefing to a weekend newspaper stated that Kumar Gunaratnam was arrested according to the information provided by a person residing in the close vicinity of the house where Kumar Gunaratnam was in.
Kumar Gunaratnam and Dimuthu Aatigala who left the JVP were abducted on the 7th of April 2012 evening while they were at a house in Kiribathgoda area. After a day they were set free in the vicinity of Colombo crime investigation division by unknown persons. However the FSP had also lodged a complaint at the police headquarters requesting for a reinvestigation into the incident of Kumar Gunaratnam’s abduction.
