Commissioner of Bribery and Corruption Commission Neville Guruge states that prominence should be given not only to take legal action against Bribery and Corruption but as well as to curtail bribery.

He stated this participating at a media brief held yesterday (16) at Colombo to incite about the international anti-corruption day which falls on the 9th of December.

The Director General of the Bribery and Corruption Commission Dilrukshi Dias stated participating at the media brief that due to the lack of human resources there has been inconveniences in the rapid progress of the commission’s work. 

She further stated that the bribery and corruption commission has an investigation underway in connection with the Avant-Garde incident.
