Government to decide the nature of the Hybrid Court

The Sri Lankan government will decide on the structure of the proposed international court of inquiry to investigate the human rights violations alleged to have occurred during the war.

Spokesperson for the ministry of Foreign affairs Maheshini Colonne further described the sincerity of the proposed Court of Inquiry during a media conference held today at the ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Meanwhile a member of the UN Committee investigating Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances Aerial Dulitzki expressed his views yesterday after a visit to Trincomalee Naval Camp.

Spokeperson Maheshini Colonne said that an investigation will be initiated on matters underlined by the UN investigative committee.
