A UPFA Northern Provincial Councillor Shivakkolunthu Akiladas charges that he was abducted by a group led by Jaffna District UPFA MP Angajan Ramanadan and forcibly obtained his signature to a letter of resignation.

 

He told our news team that he lodged a complaint with regard to the abduction carried out last Monday.

 

MP Angajan Ramanadan said that the charges by Akiladas are false.

 

However our news team learnt that the chairman of the Northern Provincial Council has received a letter of resignation sent by Provincial Councillor Akiladas.
