The compensation case of the North Central Indigenous Medicine Commissioner, who was attacked with acid, has been postponed to the 19th of February next year.  When the case was called for hearing in the presence of Anuradhapura District Magistrate and Acting Magistrate Indika Ahthanayaka the defendants Indigenous Doctor, ex-army officer and the fish monger were ordered to reply at the courts on that day. 

The North Central Indigenous Medicine Commissioner Dr. Kumara Alwis who was subjected this acid attack has filed a case claiming for a compensation of Rupees five and a half crores for the serious damages caused in several places of his body.
