The Lanka Private Bus Owners Association says a complaint will be lodged at the Human Rights Commission today against the strict lane regulations.

Chairman Gemunu Wijeratne said a complaint will also be lodged against the police. He charged that the police is arbitrarily obtaining fines from buses especially.

Wijeratne also said the public is faced with a major injustice through the move adding only VIPs will benefit from the new practice.

Police said strict lane regulations will be observed along Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Duplication Road and High-level Road while the move was initially implemented in on the 26th of November along the Sri Jayewardenepura Road towards Jayanthipura.
