33 Sri Lankans who went for employment in Saudi Arabia and were stranded have returned to the Island today morning.  Employees who returned to Sri Lanka are residents of Batticalao, Trincomalee, Kuliyapitiya and Oluwil areas.

They stated that they were charged Rupees one lakh each to provide high class employment by a private foreign employment agency in Colpetty area.

They further state that they did not receive any such high class employment.
