Water Board employees take Trade Union action against slashing bonus

All Employees of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board are engaged in a trade union action.
This is alleging that the year-end bonus payment has been slashed.
Convenor of the National Water Supply Trade Unions Alliance Upali Rathnayaka stated that out of the 37 thousand Rupee bonus, they had been paid only 25 thousand Rupees.
However, Chairman of the Board Kuddu Alahudin Ansaar stated that they had paid the maximum amount possible to be paid as a bonus.
