Two more arrested over the abduction of a person using Hirunika’s defender

The Colombo Crime Division arrested two more suspects, in connection with the abduction of a resident of Dematagoda. The suspects are both supporters of parliamentarian Hirunika Premachandra

Police Media Spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekera said that the suspects will be produced before Court today.

Ruwan Gunasekara further sought advice from the Attorney concerning parliamentarian Hirunika Premachandra, for her involvement in the incident.

MP Hirunika Premachandra was questioned twice by the Colombo Crime Division following the incident.

However, the MP, who has been found to be directly connected to the incident, has not yet been arrested.
