Popular Latin American singer Enrique Iglesias’s concert held in Colombo recently was highly criticized by many Sri Lankans. President Maithreepala Sirisena made International headlines after expressing his view on the concert.
The concert was organized by Live Events Sri Lanka which is owned by former Sri Lankan Cricketers Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardena.

Among the mostly discussed incidents of the concert were the instances when a girl hopped into the stage to kiss the Latin American star and another throwing a brassiere at him. President Maithreepala Sirisena stated that the organizers of the concert should be ‘beaten with toxic stingray tails’.
