29 Indian fishermen along with 3 boats have been taken into custody for violating Sri Lankan maritime boundary.

Navy Media Spokesperson, Capt. Accram Alewi told that these fishermen were arrested in the sea, 7 sea miles away from Trincomalee – Nayaru area.

The group of arrested fishermen are under the custody of Trincomalee Beach Conservation Police for further investigation.
