"The country’s economy is stable" - Arjuna Mahendran

The governor of the Central Bank Arjuna Mahendran says that the economy of the country is stable.  He also said that the monetary policies of the current government are moving in harmony with that of the international policies.

He said that the country needs not to burrow instant loans as she has done in the past, as she has sufficient foreign reserves.

The Governor made these statements as he released his annual economic analysis during a media conference held at his office this morning.
