Officers of Consumer Service Authority has captured 104 sacks of 50KG packs of Urea hidden in a fertilizer shop located in Nuwaraeliya.

CSA officers raied the shop last evening (04th).

The owner of the fertilizer shop has hidden Urea stocks after a rumor saying fertilizer prices would rise high.

Complaints have also been made before District Secretary, Helen Meegasmulla that the arrested shop keeper slashes fertilizer supply to vegetable farmers.
