The Colombo District Court decided today to hear the Case against Hirunika Premachandra for forcibly occupying a building and a piece of land belonging to a resident in the area.
Colombo District Judge Inoka Ranasinghe ordered to take the case for hearing on March 29th.
The case has been filed against MP Premachandra and her mother Sumana Premachandra by Rohan Wickrama and Ruwan Wijesekera.
The complainants state in their petition that the MP forcibly occupied the building and is running her office inside the building.
Meanwhile the eight supporters of Hirunika Premachandra who are currently in remand for abducting and assaulting a person in Dematagoda were produced before Magistrate Court today.
The Court ordered earlier that the suspects should be produced before an identification parade today.
Meanwhile Colombo Crime Division informed Court last Monday that the Defender Jeep 62 dash 1859, which was used to abduct the man from Dematagoda has been registered under Hirunika Premachandra’s name.
They also informed Court that they referred the matter to the Attorney General to seek counsel.
Hirunika Premachandra, who has been accused of being directly involved in abduction, threatening and assault of the resident from Dematagoda has still not been arrested.
