The Magistrate inquiry of the Embilipitiya incident is scheduled to be held today (14th).

The case was first held before the Embilipitiya Additional Magistrate Prasanna Fernando yesterday (13th).

The Police Media Spokesperson, Attorney-at-Law ASP Ruwan Gunasekara conducts the gathering of evidence in this case.

Meanwhile, notebooks of journalists who were present at the courts to report the hearing were collected by policemen on courts duty. Instead, journalists have been provided with a blank sheet to take down necessary notes.

A youth resided in Embilipitiya fell off upstairs of a house in a clash between police and inhabitants, succumbed to his injuries the 4th January.
