Embilipitiya Case: ASP Gunasekara abstains gathering evidence from Victim's family

The Police Media Spokesperson, Attorney-at-Law ASP Ruwan Gunasekara stated that he would abstain from conducting the gathering evidence of victim’s family in Magistrate inquiry of Sumith Prasanna Jayawardena case in Embilipitiya.

However, ASP Ruwan Gunasekara will continue to conduct gathering evidence from defender, Police.

A youth resided in Embilipitiya fell off upstairs of a house in a clash between police and inhabitants, succumbed to his injuries the 4th January.

The case was first held before the Embilipitiya Additional Magistrate Prasanna Fernando on 13th January.
