A video of a Maori dance at the wedding of Aaliya and Benjamin Armstrong, a New Zealand couple, is being widely shared on social media moving millions of hearts world-wide.

The passionate wedding haka that moved the bride to tears has so far made over 13 million viewers cry.

The video was filmed at the couple's wedding reception in Auckland last week while the haka was organized by the 23-year-old groom's best man led by his older brother.

In the video, the couple watch with emotion as the groomsmen and guests surprise them with a heartfelt performance of the traditional dance, before joining in themselves.

The bride and groom who live in Auckland, posted the video on facebook for friends and went viral to their surprise.

The bride (21) has told foreign media that she was "blown away" by the performance.

She said the haka was a sign of respect from her husband's best man and family not, as some have commented online, an attempt to intimidate him.
