Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe says Sri Lanka will stand by its commitment to the United Nations Human Rights Council resolution passed in Sri Lanka pertaining to addressing alleged human rights abuses.

In an interview with UK’s Channel 4 television, the Prime Minister with regards to foreign affiliation in the investigative process said the people’s mandate will considered.
