Opposition Leader to Scotland to study Self Rule

Opposition Leader R Sambanthan is engaged in a tour of Scotland on a study with regard to Self Rule.

Parliamentarian M A Sumanthiran is accompanying the Opposition Leader.

TNA Northern Provincial Councillor M K Sivajilingam stated that they are to meet with few Political representatives in Scotland.

Meanwhile, EPRLF Leader Suresh Premachandran says that the delay in providing lands in the North to their original owners could damage the trust the Tamils have placed on the government.

Meeting with a group whose lands are yet to be released, he said that the lands within the High Security Zone should be released to their original owners soon.

EPRLF Leader Suresh Premachandran met with people representing the Tamil People’s Council which was established by the Northern Province Chief Minister C V Vigneshwaran.
