The Committee of public opinion over Constitutional Reforms has met with the Chief Prelate of the Malwathu Chapter in Kandy.

The Committee met with the Chief Prelate in order to seek proposals and suggestions for Constitutional Reforms.

The inquiry of public opinion over Constitutional reforms from the residents of Kandy district commenced today.

Chairman of the Committee Lal Wijenayake speaking to media said the 4 member Committee is engaged in brief discussions over the need for a new Constitution with the Chief Prelate.
