Two wearing full-face helmets have robbed the Samanabeda Rural Bank in Thithpaththara area in Dompe.

The incident took place at around 3.35 last evening, Hiru News was told.

Police said the two has arrived in a motorbike and was heavily armed.

Four police teams attached to the Dompe Police Station are deployed to arrest the robbers.
