Maagal Kande Sudatta Thera of Sinhala Ravaya remanded

General Secretary of Sinhala Ravaya,  Maagalkande Sudatta Thera and another monk who was accused of behaving in an unruly manner in front of Homagama Magistrate’s court, surrendered to Homagama Police this afternoon.

Subsequently the 2 monks were remanded until the 9th of this month.

Laypersons and monks caused a commotion in front of Homagama Magistrate’s court on the 26th of January, after the court remanded General Secretary of Bodu Bala Sena Galagoda-atthe Gnaana-saara Thera.

Later, they were arrested according to the order of the Magistrate.

Meanwhile, 4 persons who were arrested for behaving in an unruly manner in front of Magistrate’s Court yesterday, have been remanded until the 9th of this month.
