A 6.6 magnitude earthquake has hit the eastern Indonesia coast yesterday. No serious damages are reported.

Indonesian Meteorology and Geophysics Agency said the earthquake will not trigger a tsunami.

U.S. Geological Survey stated the earthquake struck about 94 kilometers (58 miles) west of Waingapu, a coastal town on Sumba Island in East Nusatenggara province.
