Afghan civilian deaths and injured hits a record of 11,000: UN

A UN report released yesterday said over 11,000 civilians were killed or injured during the Afghanistan war in 2015. The number of causalities has reached record levels for the seventh year in a row, UN stated.

Accordingly at least 3,545 non-combatants died and 7,457 were injured last year. This records a four per cent increase from 2014.
