Over 800,000 devotees are climbing the Adam’s Peak this weekend. This is because the Navam full moon Poya Day is falling tomorrow making a long weekend.

Due to this a heavy traffic jam, 15 km longs, is seen from Nallathanniya to Maskeliya.

Hiru reporter said that people have to walk for over 10km to the Adam’s Peak.

Meanwhile, three were injured when two buses carrying pilgrims crashed face to face last evening.
