The UK will vote on June 23 if to remain in the European Union (EU), Prime Minister David Cameron said.
After briefing the cabinet about this decision he said he will campaign to remain in a reformed EU. He said the vote will be the biggest decision made in their lifetimes.
In an emotional plea he asked voters to reject the ‘leap in the dark’ of a British exit from EU, foreign media reported.
Tweeting his decision Cameron said, “On June 23rd, you will decide if Britain is stronger, safer and better off in a reformed EU..”
