A plane carrying 21 people has gone missing in west Nepal, foreign media reported.

The Twin Otter aircraft was transporting 18 passengers including two foreigners when it lost contact with the control tower.

"Two helicopters are on a search-and-rescue mission," Pokhara airport official Yogendra Kunwar said. But they haven’t found any trace of the plane yet.
