At least nine dead and over 25 injured in a deadly attack by Somali militants at a hotel in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu yesterday.
An Islamist extremist group, the Shabab, has claimed responsibility for the incident. According to security officials four militants attached to the group were also killed.
The Shabab has left a car packed with explosives in front of the hotel before entering the building. The group also targeted Peace Garden, a park situated in the city.
Al-Shabab, a group connected to the al-Qaeda, is launching attacks in Somalia.
