Seventy (70) snake eggs of a venomous cobra species have been found in a cave located in the play ground of Helaudakanda Maha Vidyalaya, Embilipitiya.

Teachers and parents have observed every nook and corner of the school as six baby cobras have been spotted when the students have assembled at the play ground today morning.

Upon the search, 70 eggs have been discovered.

Sources claim that steps have been taken to handover the baby cobras and the eggs to the Wild Life officers.
