Nukes must be ready for use- North Korea leader

The leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Un, has ordered his military to be ready to use its nuclear weapons at any given time.

He has also asked his military to be in ‘pre-emptive attack’ mode as the enemy threats are growing.

An escalation of tension on the Korean peninsula after the U.N. Security Council imposed harsh new sanctions on the isolated state for its nuclear programme, was marked by the country’s official KCNA news channel.

Kim made the comments as he supervised military exercises involving newly developed rocket launchers, KCNA has reported.
