Political Prisoners Requested To Abandon The Hunger Strike: TNA

Tamil National Alliance (TNA) has requested Tamil political prisoners to abandon the hunger strike.

14 political prisoners who detained in Velikkata prison under prevention of terrorism act have been on hunger strike to release them. Meanwhile, after the meeting hold in opposition leader’s office today (Sunday) TNA has requested as above.

TNA’s postpone motion on missing person and Tamil political prisoners will be argued in Parliament day after tomorrow (8th of March).

Following this, TNA’s activities on release of prisoners will be intensified, political sources states.
