A total of 13 suspected Islamic State (ISIS) militants were detained following a major swoop on Wednesday, Malaysia police chief Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said on Thursday (March 24), Malaysian media reports.

The Inspector-General of Police tweeted that the suspects were arrested after the Bukit Aman Special Branch Counter Terrorism Division (E8) raided terror cells with ISIS links around the country yesterday.
